Angel Project

Eighteen years ago a Southwest Youth and Family Services’ staff member had a dream to provide Christmas gifts for the children and youth who would be in our Shelter for Christmas. The establishment of the Angel Project has more than fulfilled this dream.

The Angel Project provides holiday gifts for children who would not otherwise receive gifts during the Christmas season by partnering with community members who adopt an Angel. Since its inception, the Angel Project has provided Christmas gifts to more than 3,900 needy children across Grady and Caddo Counties. This has been possible only through the generous support of our community.

The Angel Project works in conjunction with the Department of Human Services, Salvation Army, and Santa’s Workshop to ensure that all needs are met, and no duplications are made.

Individuals, families, companies, classes, or organizations can become an “Angel Project” sponsor as follows:

1. Adopt an “Angel” and shop for her/his Christmas gifts. Contact 222-5437 to adopt your “Angel”.
2. Send your contribution to us, and our committed staff will shop for you. Mail your contributions to Angel Project, Southwest Youth and Family Services, P.O. Box 829, Chickasha, OK 73023.
